Customer Guarantee for Jove Company
At Jove Company, operating under the JoveHeal™ brand, we are committed to providing professional, meaningful and high-quality learning experiences. We want every participant to feel supported, informed and confident in the training they receive. This Customer Guarantee explains the standards participants can expect from our training programs.
Our Guarantee to You
Quality Instruction: We guarantee that our training will be created and delivered by an appropriately qualified and experienced instructor. Our programs are designed to provide structured, engaging and educational learning experiences that meet the stated course objectives and professional standards.
Relevant and Up-to-Date Content: We guarantee that our training content will be reviewed regularly to ensure that it remains relevant, accurate and appropriate for the intended learners. We consider participant feedback, assessment outcomes, trainer observations and relevant developments in coaching, holistic wellness, safeguarding, professional ethics and practitioner responsibilities when reviewing our materials.
Interactive Learning Environment: We guarantee that our live training will encourage active participation, reflection, discussion and practical application. Depending on the program, participants may engage in demonstrations, guided exercises, case studies, group discussions and independent practice. Participants may pause or choose not to take part in an experiential exercise if they do not feel comfortable.
Comprehensive Course Materials: We guarantee that participants will receive the course materials necessary to support their learning. These may include a participant handbook, presentation materials, worksheets, practice exercises, assignments and assessment guidance. Participants may retain approved materials for personal reference, subject to JoveHeal’s intellectual-property and confidentiality requirements.
Clear Learning Requirements: We guarantee that participants will be informed about the course objectives, attendance expectations, required independent practice, assessments and completion requirements. Any significant program changes will be communicated as promptly as reasonably possible.
Ethical and Responsible Training: JoveHeal training is provided for education, personal growth, self-improvement and general wellness. It is not medical or psychological training and does not qualify participants to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition, mental illness or psychological condition. Participants are taught to work within their existing qualifications, competence, insurance and applicable legal scope.
Learner Support and Concerns: Participants are encouraged to raise questions or concerns during the training so that we have an opportunity to respond and, where appropriate, provide clarification or a reasonable resolution. Formal concerns will be handled in accordance with the JoveHeal Complaints Policy & Procedures.
Refund, Rescheduling, & Service Resolution
All purchases for JoveHeal services and training programs are considered final. JoveHeal does not generally provide refunds, exchanges or credits. Digital products, online courses and downloadable materials are also non-refundable once access has been provided.
In specific unforeseen circumstances or emergencies, JoveHeal may permit a participant to reschedule certain services, subject to availability. Rescheduling is not guaranteed and remains at the sole discretion of JoveHeal.
If JoveHeal cancels a training program or event, participants may be offered the opportunity to reschedule, receive a credit toward a future service or, in certain circumstances, receive a refund. The available resolution and applicable terms will be communicated to affected participants.
In rare cases involving extenuating circumstances, JoveHeal may consider a refund request individually. Any decision remains solely at the discretion of JoveHeal and does not create a general entitlement to a refund.
Technical issues or service failures must be reported to [email protected] within 48 hours of purchase. JoveHeal will assess the issue and determine whether corrective action is appropriate. This 48-hour period is a deadline for reporting technical issues or service failures and is not a general money-back guarantee.
Our Commitment
Jove Company values the trust participants place in us. We are committed to delivering organised, relevant and professionally presented training that supports meaningful learning and responsible practice. We welcome constructive feedback and use it to continuously review and improve our programs.
By enrolling, participants acknowledge that learning outcomes depend partly on their attendance, participation, completion of required work and application of the material. While we guarantee the standards described above, we cannot guarantee any specific personal, professional, financial, physical, emotional or spiritual result.
This section should be read together with our Legal Disclaimer, which contains limitations of liability and indemnification terms that apply to all JoveHeal Services described on this page.

Monitoring
Jove Company Scorp is committed to providing high-quality training and continuously improving the services delivered through JoveHeal. Complaints, concerns, compliments and suggestions are reviewed to identify opportunities to improve our training, assessment process, learner support, accessibility, communication and overall participant experience.
Where appropriate, complaint information will be reviewed in an aggregated or de-identified format to identify recurring concerns while protecting the privacy of the people involved. This policy will be reviewed annually and whenever a significant change is made to our services or applicable requirements.
Our Service Standards for Complaints
We will:
- Make it clear and straightforward for participants to submit a complaint.
- Treat every complaint seriously, respectfully, fairly and without retaliation.
- Acknowledge complaints within three business days.
- Aim to provide a written outcome within ten business days.
- Keep the complainant informed if additional time is required.
- Provide a clear explanation of our findings and decision.
- Offer an accessible or alternative communication format where reasonably required.
- Explain any corrective action or service improvement that we can appropriately disclose.
- Protect personal information in accordance with the JoveHeal Data Protection & Privacy Policy.

Responsibilities
The Complaints Coordinator is responsible for receiving, recording and coordinating responses to formal complaints. Jove Company’s management and anyone working in an instructional, administrative, supervisory or learner-support role is responsible for encouraging good customer care and cooperating with the complaint-review process.
Where reasonably possible, a complaint will be reviewed by someone who was not directly involved in the matter being raised. Everyone involved in handling complaints must maintain appropriate confidentiality, act impartially and avoid retaliation against a person who raises a concern in good faith.
Communication
This Complaints Policy & Procedures will be made available electronically and may also be provided in an accessible or alternative format upon request.
Anyone working with JoveHeal participants will be informed of the complaint procedure and their responsibilities. Participants will be told how to raise a concern through registration materials, joining information, the participant handbook or another appropriate communication.
Equality, Diversity, & Accessibility
Every participant has the right to express dissatisfaction with the services they receive from JoveHeal. Anyone using this procedure can expect to be treated fairly, respectfully and without unlawful discrimination.
Reasonable accommodations will be considered for anyone who needs assistance submitting or participating in the complaint process. A complaint may be submitted in an alternative format or with assistance from an authorised support person. Requesting an accommodation or raising a complaint will not disadvantage the complainant.
Procedure
A participant may complain about any aspect of JoveHeal’s training or services, including the learning experience, course content, assessment, learner support, accessibility, staff conduct, communication, payments or the organisation itself.
We encourage participants to raise concerns as soon as possible. Where appropriate, the participant may first speak with the instructor or person involved, as they may be able to resolve the concern immediately.
A formal complaint may be submitted at any stage by emailing [email protected] with the subject line “Formal Complaint.”
The complaint should include, where possible:
- The complainant’s name and preferred contact method.
- The course, service, event or transaction involved.
- A clear description of what happened.
- Relevant dates, times and names.
- Any supporting documents or screenshots.
- Details of any earlier attempt to resolve the concern.
- The outcome or resolution being requested.
A complaint is an expression of dissatisfaction that requires a response or resolution. A request for general information or technical assistance may be handled as a service request unless the person also expresses dissatisfaction with the service received.
Complaints should be submitted as soon as reasonably possible, preferably within three months of the event or issue. JoveHeal may still consider a complaint submitted after this period where there is a reasonable explanation for the delay or sufficient information remains available to review the matter fairly.

Disability Discrimination & Accessibility Policy
Overview of the Disability Discrimination Policy
This policy explains Jove Company Scorp’s commitment to preventing disability discrimination and providing equal access to JoveHeal’s training programs and services.
It applies to learners, prospective learners, clients, trainers, employees, contractors, suppliers and other people who interact with JoveHeal. It covers our online training and services as well as any in-person training or events we may provide in the future.
This policy applies to visible and non-visible physical, mental, sensory, cognitive, intellectual, developmental and other disabilities. It also protects people who have a history of disability, are perceived as having a disability or are associated with a person with a disability.
Jove Company’s Statement on Disability Discrimination
Jove Company Scorp does not tolerate unlawful disability discrimination, harassment, retaliation or denial of equal access.
We are committed to creating a respectful, accessible and inclusive learning environment in which people with disabilities can participate as fully as reasonably possible. We will consider reasonable modifications and alternative arrangements based on the individual’s needs and the essential requirements of the training.
A learner will not be required to disclose a medical diagnosis when requesting support. We may ask only for information reasonably necessary to understand the accessibility barrier and identify an appropriate adjustment.
No person will receive inferior service, be charged an additional fee solely because of a disability or be treated negatively for requesting an accommodation or raising an accessibility concern.
Disability Discrimination Objectives of the Organisation
Jove Company Scorp aims to:
- Provide fair and equal access to JoveHeal training and services.
- Identify and reduce accessibility barriers in online and future in-person learning.
- Provide reasonable modifications when required and reasonably possible.
- Make course information and learning materials clear and accessible.
- Offer practical alternatives when a standard delivery method creates a barrier.
- Protect the privacy of disability and accommodation information.
- Train colleagues and trainers to respond appropriately to accommodation requests.
- Select platforms, venues and suppliers with accessibility in mind.
- Review accessibility concerns and participant feedback regularly.
- Prevent discrimination, harassment and retaliation.
- Continuously improve the accessibility of our services and learning environment.
How Jove Company Upholds These Objectives
Online accessibility: JoveHeal will aim to make its website, registration process, payment systems, online-learning platforms, video sessions, documents and communications accessible and usable. We will periodically review the digital tools and resources used to deliver training and consider known accessibility barriers.
Depending on the learner’s needs and what is reasonable in the circumstances, support may include:
- Accessible electronic documents or alternative file formats.
- Large-print or more readable versions of materials.
- Plain-language explanations or summaries.
- Captions or transcripts where reasonably available.
- Chat-based participation or alternative communication methods.
- Additional time to read, respond or complete an assessment.
- Scheduled breaks or flexible participation.
- Adjustments to an activity or session procedure.
- Permission to use appropriate assistive technology.
- Permission for an authorised support person or interpreter.
- A practical alternative when a digital platform creates an accessibility barrier.
Training delivery: Learners will be informed that they may contact JoveHeal to discuss an accessibility requirement. Trainers will be expected to communicate respectfully, provide clear instructions, allow reasonable participation flexibility and avoid making assumptions about a person’s abilities or needs.
An accommodation must not change the essential learning outcomes, compromise participant safety or invalidate an assessment. When a requested adjustment cannot reasonably be provided, JoveHeal will discuss the concern with the learner and consider another effective option.
Assessments: Reasonable adjustments may be considered for assessments, including additional time, accessible formats or an alternative method of demonstrating the same learning outcome. Adjustments will not reduce the required competency standard or provide an unfair advantage.
Future in-person training: Before offering an in-person program or event, JoveHeal will consider accessible routes, entrances, seating, restrooms, communication arrangements, emergency procedures, sensory needs, service animals and mobility devices.
Known venue limitations will be communicated where possible. If a venue cannot provide a requested form of access, JoveHeal will work in good faith with the individual to consider another reasonable and effective arrangement.
Third-party suppliers: Where reasonably possible, JoveHeal will consider accessibility when selecting learning platforms, software providers, venues and other suppliers. Suppliers supporting our training may be asked to provide accessibility information and address barriers affecting learners.
Privacy: Information concerning a disability or accommodation request will be handled sensitively, stored securely and shared only with people who reasonably need the information to arrange or provide the requested support. Personal information will be handled in accordance with the JoveHeal Data Protection & Privacy Policy.
Requesting an Accommodation
A learner, prospective learner, trainer, employee or other participant may request an accommodation by contacting [email protected].
The request should describe:
- The accessibility barrier being experienced.
- The adjustment or support requested.
- When the support will be needed.
- Any preferred method of communication.
The person does not need to disclose a diagnosis. JoveHeal may ask for limited additional information where reasonably necessary to understand the functional need and identify an effective accommodation.
Requests should be made as early as reasonably possible to allow time for arrangements. Urgent or last-minute requests will still be considered, but some adjustments may require additional preparation.
JoveHeal will discuss the request with the individual, consider their preferred solution and respond as promptly as reasonably possible.
Responsibilities
The management is responsible for overseeing this policy and ensuring that reasonable systems are maintained to support equal access.
Trainers and colleagues are responsible for:
- Reading and following this policy.
- Treating participants fairly and respectfully.
- Identifying and reporting accessibility barriers.
- Responding appropriately to accommodation requests.
- Protecting confidential information.
- Using accessible materials and communication practices where reasonably possible.
- Referring accommodation requests to the Director when further review is required.
Learners are encouraged to communicate accessibility needs as early as possible and provide enough information for JoveHeal to understand the barrier and consider an effective adjustment.
Complaints & No Retaliation
Any person who believes they have experienced disability discrimination, harassment, retaliation or an unresolved accessibility barrier may contact [email protected].
Concerns will be handled under the JoveHeal Complaints Policy & Procedures. Complaints will be reviewed fairly, promptly and as confidentially as reasonably possible.
Retaliation is prohibited against anyone who requests an accommodation, reports an accessibility concern, supports another person or participates in a review.
Relevant Laws & Standards
Jove Company Scorp will conduct its services in accordance with applicable accessibility and nondiscrimination requirements. Depending on the service, location and people involved, these may include:
- The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, as amended.
- The California Unruh Civil Rights Act.
- The California Disabled Persons Act.
- The California Fair Employment and Housing Act, where applicable to employment.
- Applicable California consumer-protection and accessibility requirements.
- Applicable international accessibility or equality requirements when services are provided to learners in other jurisdictions.
Where appropriate, JoveHeal will also consider recognised digital-accessibility practices when reviewing online materials and platforms.
Communication & Colleague Acknowledgment
This policy will be available electronically and may be provided in an alternative format upon request. Learners will be informed about how to request accessibility support through appropriate registration, joining or course materials.
The policy will be included in the induction of relevant colleagues, trainers and contractors. Any significant revision will be communicated promptly.
Relevant colleagues and trainers will be required to confirm that they have received or can access the policy and that they have read, understood and agreed to follow it.
Acknowledgment
I confirm that I have received or been given access to the JoveHeal Disability Discrimination & Accessibility Policy. I have read and understood the policy and agree to follow its requirements.

Digital Health & Safety Policy
Purpose & Scope
This policy explains how Jove Company Scorp, operating as JoveHeal™, supports the digital health, safety and well-being of colleagues, trainers, learners, clients, contractors and other people participating in online training or services.
It applies to live online training, recorded courses, webinars, virtual meetings, online coaching, digital assessments and other activities delivered through computers, tablets, mobile devices or online platforms.
This policy addresses risks associated with screen use, workstations, digital fatigue, online participation, emotional well-being, confidentiality, platform security and emergency situations. It should be read together with the JoveHeal Disability Discrimination & Accessibility Policy, Data Protection & Privacy Policy, Legal Disclaimer, and Participant Agreement.
Company & Director’s Commitment
Jove Company Scorp recognises its responsibility to take reasonable precautions to support the health and safety of people involved in its online activities.
The Director is committed to:
- Identifying and reducing foreseeable digital health and safety risks.
- Providing reasonable information and guidance about safe online participation.
- Selecting established and appropriate platforms for online course delivery.
- Providing reasonable breaks during live training.
- Promoting accessible and inclusive participation.
- Protecting participant privacy and confidentiality.
- Responding appropriately to reported concerns or incidents.
- Reviewing this policy and related procedures regularly.
- Following applicable health, safety, employment, accessibility and privacy requirements.
The Director will consider digital health and safety when making decisions about course duration, session scheduling, teaching methods, technology platforms, recording, assessments and learner participation.
Management & Trainer Responsibilities
Anyone responsible for managing or delivering JoveHeal training must consider digital health and safety as part of their role.
Managers and trainers are expected to:
- Understand and follow this policy.
- Prepare and test digital platforms before scheduled sessions.
- Provide clear joining and participation instructions.
- Schedule reasonable breaks during longer live sessions.
- Encourage participants to move, rest their eyes and stay hydrated.
- Avoid creating unnecessary pressure to remain continuously visible on camera.
- Explain that participants may pause or decline an experiential exercise.
- Maintain professional boundaries and appropriate online conduct.
- Protect confidential and personal information.
- Respond appropriately to accessibility requests.
- Report identified risks, incidents or concerns promptly.
- Refer medical, psychological or emergency concerns to appropriately qualified services.
- Avoid diagnosing, treating or making medical or psychological claims.
If a trainer cannot safely or appropriately address a concern, they must refer it to the Director or designated program lead.
Colleague & Contractor Responsibilities
All colleagues and contractors will receive information appropriate to their roles so that they can perform their work without creating unreasonable risks to themselves or others.
They are expected to:
- Follow JoveHeal’s digital health, confidentiality and security procedures.
- Take reasonable care of their own health and safety.
- Avoid conduct that could place another person at risk.
- Use secure accounts, passwords and approved platforms.
- Protect devices and confidential information from unauthorised access.
- Report technical, security, accessibility or safety concerns promptly.
- Participate in relevant training or policy reviews.
- Ask the Director for guidance when uncertain about a requirement.
A serious or repeated failure to follow JoveHeal’s safety, confidentiality or security requirements may result in restricted access, removal from an activity, termination of a contract or other appropriate action.
Learner & Participant Responsibilities
Learners and clients are responsible for deciding whether their physical environment, equipment and personal circumstances are suitable for online participation.
Participants are encouraged to:
- Use a stable chair and suitable work surface where possible.
- Position their screen so that it can be viewed comfortably.
- Adjust lighting to reduce glare and eye strain.
- Keep cables and equipment arranged to reduce trip or damage risks.
- Maintain a comfortable listening volume.

- Protect the privacy of other participants.
- Avoid recording, photographing or sharing sessions without permission.
- Avoid participating while driving or operating machinery.
- Contact an appropriate professional or emergency service when urgent help is needed.
Participants are not required to disclose a medical diagnosis. They should provide only the information reasonably necessary for JoveHeal to understand a participation or accessibility need.
Display Screen & Workstation Guidance
Prolonged or uncomfortable use of screens may contribute to eye strain, headaches, fatigue or physical discomfort. Participants, colleagues and trainers should arrange their workspace in a way that supports comfortable participation.
Where reasonably possible:
- Place the screen approximately at or slightly below eye level.
- Keep the screen at a comfortable viewing distance.
- Sit with the back supported and shoulders relaxed.
- Keep feet supported by the floor or a stable footrest.
- Keep frequently used equipment within easy reach.
- Position the keyboard and mouse to avoid unnecessary reaching or wrist strain.
- Reduce screen glare and use appropriate room lighting.
- Adjust text size, brightness or contrast when needed.
- Change position rather than remaining still for an extended period.
These suggestions are general wellness guidance and are not medical or ergonomic treatment. Anyone experiencing persistent pain, visual problems or another medical concern should seek advice from an appropriately qualified professional.
Breaks & Digital Well-Being
JoveHeal recognises that extended online participation can contribute to digital fatigue. Live training will be designed to include reasonable opportunities for breaks, movement and changes in activity.
Participants, trainers and colleagues are encouraged to:
- Look away from the screen regularly.
- Take short movement or posture breaks.
- Stand, stretch or walk when appropriate.
- Rest their eyes between sessions.
- Stay reasonably hydrated.
- Avoid scheduling unnecessary consecutive screen-based activities.
- Silence non-essential notifications when concentration is required.
- Inform the trainer if an additional short break is needed.
Where appropriate, participants may temporarily turn off their camera, change position or step away during a break, provided essential attendance and assessment requirements are still met.
Safe Online Learning Environment
Trainers must aim to create a respectful and supportive online environment. Harassment, intimidation, discrimination, bullying, threats, sexual misconduct or deliberate disruption will not be tolerated.
Participants must not:
- Share another person’s identity, story or personal information without permission.
- Take screenshots or recordings without authorisation.
- Share private access links or login information.
- Allow an unregistered person to observe a confidential session.
- Use artificial-intelligence recording or transcription tools without written permission.
- Distribute course materials or recordings without authorisation.
- Use the platform in a way that creates a safety or security risk.
JoveHeal may remove or restrict a person’s participation when reasonably necessary to protect safety, privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property or the learning environment.
Emotional Safety and Experiential Activities
Some JoveHeal training may involve reflection on beliefs, emotions, personal experiences or repeating patterns. Participation in experiential activities is voluntary.
Before an experiential activity, the trainer will explain its general purpose and remind participants that they may:
- Choose how much personal information to share.
- Decline to answer a personal question.
- Pause or leave an exercise.
- Take a break.
- Request reasonable support.
- Seek independent professional assistance when needed.
Trainers must not pressure a participant to disclose sensitive information. Personal experiences shared during training must be treated respectfully and confidentially.
JoveHeal services are intended for education, personal growth, self-improvement and general wellness. They are not medical care, psychotherapy, psychological treatment or emergency support. JoveHeal does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent medical or psychological conditions.
Medical & Mental-Health Concerns
Anyone with a medical or mental-health condition or concern should consult an appropriately qualified healthcare professional before participating where necessary.
Participants should not disregard, delay, stop or change professional medical or mental-health advice, diagnosis, treatment or medication because of information provided through JoveHeal.
If a participant appears to be experiencing a serious medical emergency, an immediate risk of harm or an acute psychological crisis, the trainer should pause the activity and encourage the person to contact local emergency services or an appropriate licensed professional.
JoveHeal is not an emergency or crisis-response service.
Technology & Platform Safety
JoveHeal uses established third-party platforms to support online learning, video conferencing, scheduling, payments, communication and document storage.
Reasonable steps are taken to select platforms that state that they maintain appropriate privacy, data-protection and security safeguards. Platform access will be limited to people who need it for legitimate training or administrative purposes.
JoveHeal will take reasonable steps to:
- Use appropriate account and password protections.
- Restrict access to private sessions and course areas.
- Keep platform and access information confidential.
- Avoid sharing unnecessary personal information.
- Review platform security and privacy information periodically.
- Respond to identified technical or security concerns.
- Replace or restrict a platform if it no longer meets reasonable operational, privacy or security requirements.
No digital platform can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Participants and colleagues must also take reasonable precautions when accessing online services.
Recording & Confidentiality
A session will be recorded only when participants have been informed and an appropriate legal basis or consent applies.
Recordings will be stored securely and accessed only for appropriate professional, educational, quality-assurance or record-keeping purposes. They will not be shared publicly in an identifiable form without separate permission.
Unauthorised recording, photography, screenshots, transcription, livestreaming or distribution of session content is prohibited.
Accessibility
JoveHeal will consider reasonable accessibility modifications for online learning. These may include accessible documents, larger text, captions or transcripts where reasonably available, chat-based participation, additional time, breaks, alternative communication methods or appropriate assistive technology.
Accessibility requests may be submitted to [email protected]. A participant does not need to disclose a diagnosis, but may be asked to describe the barrier and adjustment needed.
Incident & Concern Reporting
Digital health, safety, accessibility, privacy or security concerns should be reported promptly to:
JoveHeal Program Director
Email: [email protected]
Reports should include, where possible:
- The date and time of the incident.
- The course, session or platform involved.
- A description of what occurred.
- Whether anyone may still be at risk.
- Any immediate action already taken.
- Relevant supporting information.
JoveHeal will review the concern, take reasonable steps to reduce any continuing risk and document appropriate corrective action.
Technical issues or service failures connected with a purchase should be reported within 48 hours in accordance with the JoveHeal Refund Policy under Customer Guarantee. This is a reporting period for technical issues or service failures and is not a general money-back guarantee.
Relevant Requirements
Jove Company Scorp will operate in accordance with applicable federal and California requirements relating to workplace health and safety, disability access, privacy, data security and consumer protection.
Where JoveHeal uses employees, contractors, platforms or venues in another jurisdiction, additional local requirements may apply.
This policy does not replace any legally required workplace Injury and Illness Prevention Program or another safety procedure that may apply to Jove Company’s employment operations.
Communication & Training
This policy will be made available to relevant colleagues, trainers and contractors. Digital health and safety responsibilities will be included in induction and role-appropriate training.
Learners will receive appropriate participation, privacy and safety information through joining instructions, course materials, session introductions or the Participant Agreement.
Material changes to this policy will be communicated to relevant people.
Monitoring & Review
Jove Company will review digital health and safety through participant feedback, trainer observations, reported incidents, accessibility concerns, platform reviews and course evaluations.
The policy will be reviewed at least annually and whenever a significant change is made to course delivery, technology, staffing, services or applicable requirements.

Jove Company Scorp, operating as JoveHeal™

The success of Jove Company depends on the people who contribute to and participate in our work, including colleagues, trainers, contractors, suppliers, clients and learners. We value the different experiences, identities, abilities, perspectives and beliefs that each person brings to our organisation.
Jove Company is committed to being a fair, respectful and inclusive employer, service provider and training organisation. We aim to create an environment in which everyone has a fair opportunity to participate, learn, contribute and succeed.
Our learners have the right to participate in an equal, supportive and psychologically safe learning environment. Our colleagues and trainers have the right to work in an environment that respects their dignity and is free from unlawful discrimination, harassment, bullying, intimidation and retaliation.
Jove Company will comply with applicable equality, employment, civil-rights, disability-access and nondiscrimination requirements. We will also promote fair and inclusive practices that go beyond minimum legal requirements where reasonably possible.
Scope
This policy applies to:

- Contractors, consultants and suppliers.
- Job applicants and volunteers.
- Clients and prospective clients.
- Learners and prospective learners.
- Guests and other people participating in JoveHeal programs.
- Anyone representing JoveHeal or acting on its behalf.
It applies to recruitment, employment, contracting, training, assessment, certification, coaching, online communication, marketing, events and all other JoveHeal activities.
Equal Treatment Commitment
No person will be treated less favourably because of an actual or perceived characteristic protected by applicable law or because of their association with a person who has such a characteristic.
Protected characteristics may include:
- Race, colour, ancestry, ethnicity or national origin.
- Citizenship, immigration status or primary language where protected.
- Religion, creed, spiritual belief or absence of belief.
- Sex, pregnancy, childbirth or a related condition.
- Gender, gender identity or gender expression.
- Sexual orientation.
- Marital or partnership status.
- Age.
- Physical, mental, sensory, cognitive or other disability.
- Medical condition or genetic information.
- Military or veteran status.
- Any other characteristic protected under applicable law.
Jove Company will not apply a condition, requirement or practice that unfairly disadvantages a person unless it is necessary, lawful and reasonably connected to an essential operational, safety, learning or assessment requirement.
Our Objectives
Jove Company aims to ensure that:
- Everyone is treated with dignity, fairness and respect.
- Learning and working environments are free from discrimination, harassment, bullying and retaliation.
- Recruitment, contracting and professional-development decisions are based on relevant ability, experience, competence and merit.
- Learners have a fair opportunity to participate and demonstrate achievement.
- Course admission, attendance, assessment and certification requirements are applied consistently.
- Reasonable accessibility modifications are considered when needed.
- Different cultural, personal, religious and spiritual perspectives are treated respectfully.
- Training examples and materials use inclusive and respectful language.
- Concerns are taken seriously and handled promptly and sensitively.
- Anyone raising a good-faith concern is protected from retaliation.
- Colleagues and trainers receive appropriate guidance about their responsibilities.

- Use respectful and inclusive language.
- Avoid stereotypes, assumptions and discriminatory examples.
- Apply attendance and assessment requirements consistently.
- Encourage participation without pressuring anyone to disclose personal information.
- Respect different religious, cultural and spiritual beliefs.
- Avoid presenting one belief system as a requirement for participation.
- Consider reasonable accessibility needs.
- Protect learner dignity during demonstrations, discussions and feedback.
- Intervene when discriminatory, harassing or bullying behaviour occurs.
Learners may express different opinions and beliefs respectfully. Disagreement does not justify insulting, humiliating, threatening or excluding another person.
Recruitment, Employment, & Contracting
Where Jove Company recruits employees, trainers, contractors or suppliers, decisions will be based on legitimate business requirements, relevant qualifications, experience, competence, performance and professional conduct.
Job descriptions, trainer requirements and selection criteria will be connected to the responsibilities of the role. Reasonable accommodations will be considered during recruitment and work where required and reasonably possible.
Access to development, training and professional opportunities will be provided fairly. Employment, contracting or promotion decisions will not be based on unlawful discrimination or personal favouritism.
If employment is ended, or a contractor or supplier relationship is terminated, the decision will be based on legitimate and documented reasons and not on a protected characteristic or a person’s good-faith complaint.
Harassment
Harassment is unwelcome conduct connected to a protected characteristic or personal identity that violates a person’s dignity or creates an intimidating, hostile, degrading, humiliating or offensive environment.
Harassment may be verbal, written, visual, physical, sexual or digital. It may occur during live sessions, private messages, email, online community discussions, social media interactions or in-person events.
Examples may include:
- Offensive jokes, comments or images.
- Derogatory remarks about a person’s identity or background.
- Sexual comments, advances or unwanted attention.
- Repeatedly using language intended to humiliate or intimidate.
- Sharing discriminatory or demeaning content.
- Excluding someone because of a protected characteristic.
- Mocking a disability, accent, belief, culture or personal identity.
- Deliberately refusing a reasonable accessibility arrangement.
- Misusing personal information to embarrass or harm someone.
Conduct may be inappropriate even when the person responsible says that no offence was intended. The effect, context, seriousness and frequency of the behaviour will all be considered.
Bullying
Bullying is unreasonable behaviour that intimidates, humiliates, undermines, isolates or harms another person. It may be repeated or, in serious circumstances, involve a single incident.
Examples may include:
- Verbal abuse, threats or insulting communication.
- Deliberately excluding or isolating someone.
- Persistent unwarranted criticism.
- Public humiliation.
- Spreading malicious information.
- Setting impossible or intentionally unfair expectations.
- Withholding information needed to perform a role or complete training.
- Misusing authority or professional status.
- Repeatedly disrupting another learner’s participation.
- Targeting someone through online messages or group communication.
Reasonable management, performance feedback, assessment decisions or enforcement of course requirements will not normally constitute bullying when handled fairly, respectfully and consistently.
Responsibilities of the Director
The Director is responsible for promoting and overseeing this policy.
The Director will:
- Lead by example.
- Take reasonable steps to prevent discrimination, harassment and bullying.
- Respond promptly when a concern is raised.

Responsibilities of Learners
Learners are expected to:
- Treat trainers, colleagues and other learners respectfully.
- Avoid discrimination, harassment, bullying and intimidation.
- Respect personal boundaries and confidentiality.
- Use online platforms and group spaces appropriately.
- Follow reasonable conduct and participation requirements.

- Cooperate with any reasonable review of an incident.
JoveHeal may warn, restrict or remove a learner whose conduct creates a serious risk to another person, violates confidentiality or materially damages the learning environment.
Third-Party Suppliers
Jove Company expects suppliers supporting its training and services to maintain ethical, fair and nondiscriminatory practices.
Where relevant, supplier agreements will require compliance with applicable employment, accessibility, privacy and nondiscrimination requirements. Jove Company may review or end a supplier relationship if serious discriminatory, harassing or unethical conduct is identified and not appropriately addressed.
The online platforms selected by JoveHeal are expected to provide features and practices that support equal access, privacy and appropriate user safety. If a significant barrier is identified, JoveHeal will take reasonable steps to provide an alternative or address the concern with the supplier.
Handling Concerns & Complaints
A person who believes they have experienced or witnessed discrimination, harassment, bullying or retaliation should raise the concern as soon as reasonably possible.
Where the person feels comfortable and the matter is appropriate for informal resolution, they may explain that the behaviour is unwelcome and ask for it to stop. Informal resolution is optional and is not required before making a formal complaint.
A formal concern may be submitted to:
JoveHeal Complaints Coordinator
Email: [email protected]
Subject line: Equal Treatment Concern
The report should include, where possible:
- A description of what occurred.
- Relevant dates, sessions or communications.
- The names of the people involved.
- Any witnesses or supporting information.
- Whether the behaviour is continuing.
- The outcome or support being requested.
The concern will be handled under the JoveHeal Complaints Policy & Procedures. The complainant and the person responding to the allegation will each have a fair opportunity to provide relevant information.
The complainant may be accompanied by an authorised support person during a meeting where reasonably appropriate.
Confidentiality
Jove Company will protect confidentiality as far as reasonably possible. Information will be shared only with people who need it to review the concern, protect safety, take corrective action or comply with a legal obligation.
Complete confidentiality cannot be guaranteed where an allegation must be investigated, where another person must be given a fair opportunity to respond or where disclosure is required by law.
No Retaliation
Retaliation is prohibited against anyone who:
- Raises a good-faith concern.
- Requests an accommodation.
- Supports another person making a complaint.
- Provides information during a review.
- Exercises a legal right.
A concern that is not upheld will not be treated as a false complaint merely because there was insufficient evidence. Knowingly making a malicious or deliberately false allegation may result in appropriate action.
Corrective & Disciplinary Measures
When a breach is established, Jove Company will take action that is reasonable and proportionate to the circumstances.
Action may include:
- Clarification of expectations.
- An apology or facilitated resolution.
- Additional training or supervision.
- A formal warning.
- Restricted access or responsibilities.
- Removal from a course, community or event.
- Termination of employment or a contract.
- Ending a supplier relationship.
- Referral to an appropriate authority where necessary.
Any refund, credit or rescheduling decision will be made in accordance with the current JoveHeal Refund Policy under Customer Guarantee and applicable law.
Communication
This policy will be available electronically and may be provided in an accessible format upon request.
Relevant colleagues, trainers and contractors will receive access to the policy during induction. Significant updates will be communicated promptly.
Learners will be informed about expected conduct and how to report concerns through appropriate joining instructions, course materials or participation agreements.
Monitoring and Review
Jove Company will monitor the effectiveness of this policy through complaints, participant feedback, trainer observations, accessibility requests and periodic reviews of employment and training practices.
The policy will be reviewed at least annually and whenever there is a significant change to JoveHeal’s services, staffing, training delivery or applicable requirements.
